Definition Assignment

 Media in my opinion is the information that is out there whether it be recordings, images or things that can be used to better explain something or a point that you are trying to get across. Social Networking is when you try to build a network for those around you such as friends, coworkers, or those that you want in your life. I feel that sometimes they can be used for the wrong reasons. To be honest I only use Facebook, TikTok and sometimes Instagram. I have used, well tried to use Sanpchat, Twitter and once upon a time when Pintrest was popular. Facebook mainly I use to keep in touch with what family I have left and some old friends. I don’t have a big friends list because I keep those in my life very close to me and don’t just friend and share things with everyone. TikTok is mainly for laughs and when I want to just get my mind away from things, but the only problem is sometimes you can get so into watching all the people do some of the stupidest things that you become lost. I am not a person who is big on staying on the internet or using these sites, because the exmilitary in me does not like how they track you sometimes and use your input to try to pass things off on to you. I try to limit as I said above what I do and who is a part of my social network, because back when I was into politics and what is going on in the world it would depress me looking at some of the things on there. Plus, I do not like how people are not as easy to accept others’ opinions and start to judge them by it.
